Daily Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & First Impressions

Land at Vágar Airport (FAE) and transfer to our accommodation near the picturesque village of Gásadalur. Evening session photographing the iconic Múlafossur Waterfall, one of the most famous locations in the Faroes. From the ground, we'll capture its dramatic plunge into the ocean framed by rugged cliffs. With drones, we'll elevate the perspective, revealing the surrounding village, sea, and cliffs in a single sweeping shot. Group welcome dinner with orientation, gear prep, and drone safety briefing covering regulations, no-fly zones, and best practices for flying in Faroese conditions.

Day 2: Vágar Island Highlights

Morning hike to Trælanípa (Slave Cliffs) for panoramic views of Sørvágsvatn, the 'lake above the ocean.' Drone flights here provide stunning illusions of the lake suspended high above the sea. Weather permitting, boat trip to the Drangarnir Sea Stacks and Tindhólmur Island - one of the most unique opportunities for drone pilots, filming sea stacks rising dramatically from the Atlantic. Position ourselves for safe and legal flights while capturing rarely-seen angles. Sunset session at Sandavágur Village where aerials highlight colorful rooftops against sweeping fjord landscapes.

Day 3: Streymoy & Vestmanna

Morning boat trip to the Vestmanna Bird Cliffs. Though drones cannot be flown near nesting seabirds, we'll capture the towering walls and caves from designated areas. Telephoto lenses complement drone wide angles beautifully here. Afternoon visit to Saksun, a remote village with a tidal lagoon and turf-roofed houses. From above, the lagoon curves into the fjord like a painter's brushstroke. Cultural stop at Kirkjubøur, one of the Faroes' most historic villages with medieval ruins and traditional architecture. Sunset at Tjørnuvík Beach where black sand contrasts with the distant Risin and Kellingin sea stacks.

Day 4: Eysturoy Adventure

Sunrise in Gjógv, a charming village tucked around a natural harbor. Drones showcase the harbor's dramatic cut into the cliffs, framed by colorful houses and the North Atlantic beyond. Day option to hike Slættaratindur (the highest peak in the Faroes) for sweeping views, with drone flights offering almost a bird's-eye view of the entire archipelago. Alternative less strenuous option to explore fjord-side villages and reflections. Evening sunset at Funningur Church with panoramic fjords spreading in all directions - from the air, the church becomes the perfect foreground element for endless mountain ridges.

Day 5: Northern Isles & Kalsoy

Morning ferry journey to Kalsoy Island, famous from James Bond's 'No Time to Die.' Day hike to the legendary Kallur Lighthouse - from ground level it's breathtaking, but drones here capture the sheer scale of cliffs plunging into the ocean, waves crashing far below, and the lighthouse perched on a razor's edge. Afternoon in Mikladalur photographing the Seal Woman statue, a blend of Faroese myth and ocean drama. Drones reveal her placement against cliffs and surf. Final sunset returning via ferry, chasing last light over Eysturoy's fjords for farewell aerial panoramas.

Day 6: Farewell

Optional final sunrise at Gásadalur to capture Múlafossur in the softest morning light. Breakfast and transfer to Vágar Airport for departures.
